Sree Narayana Guru Memorial Pharmacy College situated in the SNGM campus started functioning under the SNGM Educational and Cultural Trust from the year 2004 with an intake of 60 students per year. The college is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Kerala.
Facilities provided in the college is second to none and with staff well qualified and motivated, students admitted to the college are sure to answer the growing demand of of Pharmacists in Hospitals, industry and trade.
Courses Offered
D-Pharm ( Diploma in Pharmacy)
Duration The Course will be extended over a period of two academic years with each academic year spread over a period of not less than 180 working days. On succesful completion of the course the Candidates will have to undergo 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months in one of the hospitals approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and assigned by the authorities.
Syllabus of the course will be as stipulated by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
The minimum qualification for admission to the course is a pass in
A candidate who have passed +2 or PDC with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Mathematics as
Optional subjects or VHSE with groups A&B or equivalent examinations of any other university recognized by the Government of Kerala.
i) 10+2 examination (science stream with Biology or Mathematics )
ii) Pre-degree examination (science stream with Biology or Mathematics )
- Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Application form and prospectus can be had from the college office in all working days on payment of Rs.250/- or by post against an M.O. for Rs.275/- in favour of the Manager, S.N.G.M. Pharmacy College, Valamangalam South P.O., Thuravoor, Cherthala, Alappuzha - 688 532.

Interview
Candidates provisionally selected for admission have to appear for an interview before the Principal accompanied by Parent/Guardian on such dates and time as are individually notified or generally advertised. Candidates are to bring all certificates and other documents in original along with attested copies and four copies of Passport Size photographs at the time of the interview.
Transportation
Daily trips of college buses are available for the students and facul ties from Cherthala,Alappuzha, Ernakulam and Kottayam covering all the nearby towns
Hostel Facility
Accommodation is provided for both girls and boys separately in the college campus itself. Hostel fees: Rs 30,000/- per academic year for food and accommodation, payable in advance. This is for the academic year 2011-12 and is subject to revision every year.
